Frequently Asked Questions

QIs it possible to go by car?
AYes, it is possible. Parking in the second lot, which has space for over 50 vehicles, will make things smoother.
QHow do I make a reservation?
AYou can make a reservation by phone at (0120-58-5506) or through the inquiry form on our website. We recommend booking early as we limit reservations to 5 groups per day. Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays are particularly busy, so if you have a desired date, please contact us as soon as possible.
QWill the costume for the day of the shoot be provided?
AYes, we have a wide selection of costumes. We work with our affiliated kimono shop, "Sodenotakeyma," so we have a particularly rich lineup of Japanese attire, including furisode (long-sleeved kimonos), hakama (traditional split skirts), and kimonos for Shichi-Go-San (a traditional rite of passage for children). We also offer Western-style clothing for children, such as dresses and tuxedos, so please feel free to consult us. Bringing your own costumes is also very welcome.
QHow long does the shoot take?
ADepending on the shooting menu, approximately 1 to 2 hours are estimated, including changing clothes, hair and makeup, and shooting. If there is a change of costume, such as for pre-ceremony photos for Shichi-Go-San or Coming-of-Age ceremonies, it may take about 2 to 3 hours. We limit appointments to 5 groups per day, so we will take our time to accommodate you.
QCan I also request hair and makeup services, as well as dressing services?
AYes, our photography plans include hairstyling and makeup. We can also handle dressing for formal kimono (furisode) for Coming of Age ceremonies and graduation hakama within our studio. Our experienced staff will create the look based on your requests and vision, so please rest assured.
QCan I get the shooting data?
AYes, we can provide you with the photography data. The number of edited photos you receive will vary depending on the plan. Please check the details on each photography menu page or contact us by phone for more information. The data can be delivered via download, USB drive, or CD.
QWhat happens if the child starts to fuss?
APlease be assured that we are experienced in photographing young children. We have several female photographers on staff who will proceed with the shoot at your child's pace. We will incorporate breaks as needed and use toys to elicit natural expressions.
QCan we shoot on location?
AYes, in addition to studio photography, we also offer location shoots. We can suggest locations such as shrines, temples, parks, and cherry blossom avenues that suit the season and scene. We will help you create memories in special places, such as for Shichi-Go-San (Children's Day) shrine visits and pre-wedding photoshoots for Coming-of-Age ceremonies.
QCan I take photos with my family and siblings too?
AOf course! We also welcome photo sessions with your family and siblings. For milestone occasions like Shichi-Go-San or birthdays, we recommend taking a group photo with your entire family. We also offer commemorative photos with grandparents.
QCan I take photos with my pet?
AYes, we also offer pet photography. We will passionately assist you with photo sessions of your beloved pet, who is an important member of your family. It would be helpful if you could inform us of your pet's type and size in advance to ensure a smooth process. Please consult with us when you inquire for more details.
QWhat products are available for photo finishes (albums, mounting boards, etc.)?
AWe offer a wide variety of products such as albums, mounts, photo frames, and acrylic panels. After your photoshoot, you can view your pictures on a monitor and choose your favorite products. You can also discuss options for mini albums for gifts and New Year's card printing.
