~1/2 adults & thirteen-year-old debutants~ 🎉 Celebrating the arrival of best friends sisters 🎉

Hello, I'm trainee Hinata(*´∀`*)

I will be introducing more cute babies this time too♪♪

Have you all taken photos of yourselves as 1/2 adults?

As the name suggests, the 1/2 Adult Festival is said to have become established in recent years as a celebration of the 10th anniversary of a person turning 20.

It is often held as a school event in elementary schools, but it is not included in the "Guidelines for Educational Instruction," which is the standard of the educational curriculum, so it is not recognized as an official event.

It doesn't happen in every school. (Note: I think that's what Hinata found out.)

However, this is a celebration for the senior class, so why not take photos of it?

I will be allowed to wear kimono and take various photos. It doesn’t end with just the seven-five-three ceremony or the coming-of-age ceremony.

Let's celebrate the half-way mark towards adulthood (*^^*)

Of course, we also have dresses available. What a wonderful opportunity to have at school that you won't get anywhere else!

And next up is my older sister's thirteenth birthday celebration!

The Thirteen Trigrams are a way of expressing gratitude for having grown up safely until the age of 13, and for developing greatly in body and mind during this time.

It is said to commemorate the fact that they will become a respectable adult. (Note: Information obtained from Hinata)

When they turn 13, the girls' kimono, which were only for children, will become adult-sized.

It seems that it’s not nationwide, but rather regional in nature. Mainly in the Kansai area or something like that…

I’m writing this while researching because I don’t have enough knowledge myself……It’s full of various meanings and it’s fun!!

Boys usually wear kimono with a hakama, and girls usually wear kimono or hakama; however, nowadays there are many different styles of formal attire, and many photos are taken in uniforms or suits.

For those who are unable to visit due to the coronavirus pandemic or who have difficulty traveling long distances, even just a photo will be a memorable keepsake.

Why not try wearing a kimono for events other than a seven-five-three ceremony or a coming-of-age ceremony?

The entire studio will do our best to accommodate your shooting requests (^O^)
